Digitalization enables us to effectively collaborate with people who are located in different places. Whether via email, WhatsApp, Zoom, or Teams – leaders are increasingly communicating digitally (not just since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic) with their employees, colleagues, and supervisors; especially when they or their teams are working (partially) from home. This change in work and communication structures requires a changed leadership behavior. How can leaders manage employees and teams from a distance?
