Matthias Patz is a passionate thinker and visionary leader. He has extensive experience in the digital transformation of companies towards agile and self-organized work. He has focused on developing strategies for the implementation of innovations and new digital business models. Matthias is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and believes that this is key to creating an adaptive and sustainably successful organization. Currently, Matthias is the Innovation Officer and Managing Director within the BIOTRONIK Group, with a focus on developing new data-driven business models. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Technology Foundation Berlin. Among other roles as an expert in digital technologies, he has been appointed to various advisory boards and juries in business, politics, and education over the past years. For instance, he represents economic policy interests in the context of digitalization at the state and federal level as the co-speaker of the Economic Advisory Board of the Society for Computer Science and as the co-chairman of the committee "Innovative and Knowledge-Driven City" of the IHK Berlin.
