For the study "Alpha Collaboration – Leadership in Transition: Perspectives for Future Collaboration", IFIDZ surveyed 482 executives in the DACH region online and 51 in-depth interviews were conducted in person – on the following topics:
What will collaboration look like in your company in the future?
What will leadership look like in the future?
What competencies will leaders need to strengthen in order to successfully fulfill their roles within their organizations?
Results included:
The topics of virtual and lateral leadership are increasingly gaining significance
Leaders are increasingly faced with the challenge of managing networks instead of teams
They must see themselves more as relationship managers, influencers, and meaning creators
There is a significant need for development regarding a forward-looking design of communication and cooperation
