Online Survey on the Topic "Artificial Intelligence and Leadership Role"
February 29, 2024 – The IFIDZ aims to explore in its current Leadership Trend Barometer the impacts of increased AI usage on leadership culture and the practiced leadership styles in companies.
"What else is coming our way?" This question is currently of concern to employees across functions, positions, and industries when it comes to the topic of AI usage in their organization.
It is already clear that companies will increasingly use AI systems to deliver their services in the future; however, the extent is still unclear. It is also already clear that the intensified use of AI will result in changes not only to work processes within companies but also to the work contents of employees; furthermore, it will affect cooperation and thus the framework conditions of leadership.
Effects of the AI Era on Leadership Culture
Therefore, the Institute for Leadership Culture in the Digital Age (IFIDZ), Wiesbaden, has decided to conduct its current Leadership Trend Barometer under the title "Leadership 4.0: The AI Era and Its Effects on Leadership Styles and Cultures." This online survey of executives, which the IFIDZ conducts three times a year, will examine, among other things,
what role the topic of artificial intelligence already plays in the everyday work of executives,
to what extent they are preparing themselves and their areas for an increased AI usage in the future, and
what changes in the work and leadership situation they expect in this context.
Alongside Leadership, Collaboration is Also Affected
As these questions, in addition to the theme of leadership, also touch on the topics of collaboration and work organization within the organization, the IFIDZ has decided to conduct the current Leadership Trend Barometer in cooperation with I.T.C. Incentive Training Communication GmbH. The IFIDZ aims not only to significantly increase the number of survey participants through cooperation with the "Innovation Agency for New Work" based in Dreieich but also to integrate a diversity of perspectives into the survey, according to Institute Director Barbara Liebermeister.
Participation in the Survey Takes Only 5 Minutes
The online survey consists of 16 questions, with multiple items provided as response options for participants. Therefore, participation in the anonymous survey does not take longer than five minutes, even if participants take a moment to think about their answers. At the end, participants can voluntarily enter their email address in the designated field on SurveyMonkey. They will then automatically receive a notification about the survey results at the end of March.
Insights into the Everyday Work of Executives
The IFIDZ would like to thank all participants in advance who support the institute in shedding light on the effects of AI on the leadership culture of companies and the everyday work of executives.
