Online survey "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Leadership"
Online Survey "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Leadership"
July 5, 2023 – IFIDZ wants to learn from leaders in its current Leadership Trend Barometer how they assess the impact of increased AI use in business on their leadership function and role.
The modern working world is becoming not only more interconnected and digital, but Artificial Intelligence (AI) is also playing an increasingly significant role. This puts some people in a somewhat euphoric mood, while others are more filled with fears and concerns about this development.
The Topic of Artificial Intelligence Makes Many Leaders Insecure
This is also due to the fact that currently no one knows to what extent AI solutions will be implemented in companies in the future and how much our accustomed working world will change as a result.
This uncertainty also unsettles some leaders. They ask themselves, for example: To what extent can AI solutions support leaders in their leadership work, and will they possibly even take over certain leadership functions, such as that of the decision-maker or the employee coach, in the medium to long term?
Trend Barometer on the Topic of “Artificial Intelligence and Leadership”
Therefore, the Institute for Leadership Culture in the Digital Age (IFIDZ), Wiesbaden, has dedicated its current online survey, which it conducts three times a year under the label Leadership Trend Barometer, to the topic of “Artificial Intelligence and Leadership.” Specifically, the question posed in the online survey is: “How do you think the use of Artificial Intelligence changes the role and responsibilities of leaders?”
12 Theses on the Topic of “AI and Leadership”
In the survey on SurveyMonkey, a total of twelve theses will be formulated. Participants are asked to indicate whether they agree with each one. This means that the survey is designed in such a way that participation, even if participants reflect on the theses a bit, takes a maximum of five minutes. If participants voluntarily provide an email address in the designated field on SurveyMonkey after the anonymous survey, they will be automatically informed about the survey results approximately 6 weeks later.
IFIDZ and its director Barbara Liebermeister thank all participants who support the institute in improving the overall understanding of “Artificial Intelligence and Leadership” and shedding light on the effects of AI on leadership roles and responsibilities.
