When I currently talk with executives about their work, I often hear a loud groan from them about how much they and their teams have been occupied – for years now – with responding to numerous crises and unforeseen events,

  • that are happening in their environment and

  • that often throw all planning out the window:

"That's stressful."

Moreover, in one-on-one conversations with them, I increasingly hear statements like: "I don't even know how well all of this is going to work out." This means that not a few executives are increasingly losing the confidence they need to fulfill their roles in their organizations.

 

Are executives losing their confidence due to the "perpetual crisis"?

This is reason enough for us to inquire and determine how well the executives in companies and their teams are prepared for future crises or upheavals within their organizations and their environments. Our current Leadership Trend Barometer, which is entitled "How crisis-proof are you and your team?", shows us how executives are dealing with this question and what they have learned from the past.

 

How well prepared are executives for "crises"?

This online survey of executives, which IFIDZ conducts two to three times a year, will examine, among other things:

  • "What have executives and their teams learned from the crises and transformations of the past years?"

  • "How confident are they looking into the future?

  • "To what extent are they able to maintain their energy levels during stressful situations? And:

  • "How well do they feel prepared for future upheavals and ‘black swans’, that is unforeseen events?"

 

13 questions on the topic of "crisis resilience"

In this topic complex, you will be asked 13 questions in the online survey on the SurveyMonkey platform, which you can answer with yes or no. Therefore, your participation in the anonymous survey – even allowing for some time to think about your answers – will not take longer than four to five minutes.

At the end, if desired, you can voluntarily enter your email address in the designated field and will automatically receive a notification about the survey results at the beginning of November.
