What are your biggest challenges as a leader at the moment?
What are currently your biggest challenges as a manager?
November 26, 2024 – The IFIDZ is currently conducting an online survey to find out what questions are currently pressing for managers and which topics are causing them the most headaches.
The current situation in companies is very varied. While some are desperately looking for new employees, others are focused on downsizing. While in some, the maxim "Business as usual" largely applies, others are in a transformation process and are trying to explore new business areas with the help of AI.
What questions are currently pressing for managers?
Accordingly, the challenges faced by managers in their daily work are also quite diverse. Therefore, the Institute for Leadership Culture in the Digital Age (IFIDZ), Wiesbaden, has titled its current online survey of managers, which it conducts several times a year, "The biggest current challenges for managers."
Specifically, this means it wants to determine in the survey called Leadership Trend Barometer which questions are currently
the most pressing and
which topics are causing them the most headaches in their management duties.
What topics are currently causing headaches for managers?
In the SurveyMonkey survey, you will be presented with a total of twelve statements. You are asked to indicate for each statement whether it is highly relevant to you: Yes or No. In addition to existential statements such as "How (crisis-)secure is my own position as a manager?", there are also those that deal with the transformation of the economy, such as "How do I meaningfully integrate AI and digital technologies into our work processes?" Others, on the other hand, deal directly with employee and team management. For example, the two questions
"How can I motivate my team and build a sense of togetherness despite physical distance?" and
"How can I convey security and orientation, even though I myself am faced with uncertainty?"
Participation in the survey only takes a few minutes of your time
The survey is designed so that participation, even if you think a bit about individual questions, takes a maximum of five minutes of your valuable time. Furthermore, if you voluntarily provide an email address in the designated field after the anonymous survey on SurveyMonkey, you will automatically receive the survey results after its conclusion – in about 6 weeks.
Thank you very much for your participation
The IFIDZ already thanks all participants who help the institute to gain an overview of what the central challenges are currently and presumably in the coming year in management practice. It also wishes you a lovely Advent season – although currently not only seasonally, some things appear rather gray.
