Gustav Hollnagel
Research Associate
Gustav Hollnagel supports the institute on topics including leadership culture, organizational development, and personnel development. One key focus is personnel diagnostics. In addition to his foundational training in occupational and organizational psychology (M.Sc. from TU Dresden), which qualifies him for personnel diagnostics and personnel development, Gustav is also well versed in modern leadership concepts, organizational development, and change management. His Bachelor’s degree from Morningside College (Iowa) in the United States also laid the foundation for his integrative way of thinking, where he explored political science, industrial psychology, and marketing topics, and also played college tennis on the side. Meanwhile, Gustav brings a broad portfolio of (unorthodox) agile project experience and know-how to the table when it comes to developing internal organizational initiatives. One of his strengths is creating adaptable organizational systems that work sustainably and vibrantly not just through their explicit structures, but above all through the intuition of the people involved. Since 2017, he has successfully supported Tracetronic in further expanding its global market leadership in the automated testing of vehicle functions. There, he is responsible for the effectiveness of internal sales networks and works as a continuous structural advisor. He is also a trusted organizational consultant and source of ideas for systematic change projects. As a person, Gustav is known for creativity, strong communication skills, openness, and a good sense of humor. He lives with his wife and two children in Dippoldiswalde (Osterzgebirge), near Dresden.
